Heath Ledger
Heathcliff Andrew Ledger (April 4, 1979 – January 22, 2008) was an Academy Award-nominated Australian actor. After appearing in television roles during the 1990s, Ledger developed a Hollywood career. He starred in both critical and financial successes, including The Patriot, Monster's Ball, and Brokeback Mountain, and completed the role of The Joker in the forthcoming The Dark Knight.

On January 22, 2008, Ledger was found dead in his fourth-floor apartment at 421 Broome Street in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City. He was found at 3:26 p.m. EST by a housekeeper and a massage therapist, who entered the bedroom to find him face down and unconscious at the foot of his bed with sleeping pills on a nearby night table. Police said that they also found prescription medication in the bathroom and that there were "no obvious signs" of suicide, nor did they suspect foul play.

Sorry to hear you committed suicide. The world can be a cruel place. Your part as the joker was great, but not as great as everybody want us to believe. I mean, if you hadn't died, it would have been just a good performance, but now it suddenly deserves an oscar. Well, the world is losing it again. Anyway, rest in peace and I hope your daughter has a great life.

I think some people should stop to talk nonsense. someone says he dumped her, someone says they were mismatch and he deserved better.. It seemed clearly,he was in love with her and his daughter deeper and deeper.by the way I'm not a Michelle's fan. I'm just saying what %u0131 see and I'm sure about Heath and Michelle were real lover.you'll see, if you read his interviews. he was so happy with her. unfortunately they broke up."why they did?" It's non of our business but course,a lot of rumors show up about their seperation and his death. their close friends point to they were still love each order especially Heath was.Is it necesarry to say anything else? I think Michelle is strong and very gentlewoman. she never answers the rumors. %u0131n desp%u0131te of she's very sad, she dedicates her life to Matilda. so please respect her for Heath and Matilda..

Dear friends and relatives of Heath, Today I saw Heaths performance in The Dark Knight and I was absolutely electrified by his performance. It was an experience similar to watching The Crow (with Brandon Lee who passed away during production), but here Heath gave the performance of a lifetime. I saw most of his previous films and I always felt that he was one of the greatest actors of his generation. Despite his premature death, he has left all of us with a memorable legacy - especially his role in Monster's Ball comes to mind - that I hope will make you feel proud of the work he has achieved during his lifetime. My most sincere condolances... For death is no more than a turning of us over from time to eternity. William Penn

I saw The Dark Knight yesterday, Heath was absolutely amazing in it as the Joker. It was truly the most amazing performance i've seen in a long time. Even though so many monthes have passed I still grieve for Heath's death, the question on my mind is why? Why so young? And it hurts even more that his death was truly...just an accident. R.I.P. Heathcliff Andrew Ledger.

I always liked you Heath but wasn't a devoted fan. However when you died I was so upset I couldn't think of anything else. One night I had the most vivid dream that I saw you in an old fashioned style American diner. You were sitting with another man and chatting. It was as if I was looking through the window and you looked so well. You turned to me for a second and said "I'm fine." I woke up and felt so much better - I'm sure that was you in the spirit world and I'm so glad you are o.k. I'll be going to see you in the new Batman film.XXX

Gilded Cage As time marches on the seasons wither then bloom No one will remember your illustrious career Destined to be cut short much too soon This cannot be said of a treasure so rare A countenance whose violin strings played a love tune Your seductive smile, your intense gaze The wind through your tousled blond hair You pierced our hearts with that "come hither" stare Such a deep commanding voice to melt a woman's resolve Casanova's reputation need not be appalled We need men with your swagger, your honor, your brute Many shall argue yet none will refute The aura of seduction which surrounded your head Like a halo of an angel, with heaving breasts we did tread Such a horseman, a marksman, a swordsman you were To roar like a lion, yet yawn a benevolent purr Your creativity knew no bounds Even today, your radiance still astounds A toast to you, our glasses raised high With a humble bow we applaud and sigh For now in the heavens you perform On the gilded cage of a rainbow, may you be reborn

Is a eulogy fitting enough for a King? Once in awhile someone comes along who truly reaches out and touches the depths of one's soul. They permeate every fiber of humanity through their masterful artistic expression. They are Gods of the Stage able to do what mere mortals cannot; they make us feel. Heath, you are the man, reminiscent of a young Richard Harris, a consummate professional whose timeless perfect performances will remain etched on the blank canvas of our memories forever. My love and deepsest sympathy to your family. RED
